“It’s fun to unlearn sometimes. It’s fun to just kind of let go. It’s hard to do, actually, because you have to play an innocence that you may or may not have, personally. I really enjoyed that, and so did Shane. He was good. He had a different hairdo. [laughs] Like, puffy 90’s hair. It was awesome. I laughed at him. He got mad at me. It was fun.”—Maggie Q (on flashback scenes)
Nikita fans, there’s a new agent headed to Division in Season 2, and he’s got one mission: Taking down “Mikita.”
TVLine has learned that Dillon Casey has landed the recurring role of Sean Pierce, a badass Army special-ops officer assigned by Oversight to both retrieve the stolen black box from Nikita (Maggie Q) and Michael (Shane West), as well as keep a watchful eye on Amanda (Melinda Clarke) as she navigates her newly implemented duties as head of Division.
Of course, observing Amanda also means becoming familiar with her latest protegé, Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca), which proves to be quite the task for Pirece once he finds himself intrigued by — and distrustful of — Nikita’s former partner.
Most recently seen on Starz’s Torchwood: Miracle Day and SoapNet’s Being Erica, Casey is no stranger to The CW. He appeared on The Vampire Diaries‘ first season as Noah, an evil undead stud stalkingNina Dobrev’s Elena — a fact that tickles the fancy of Dobrev’s superfans, who remember Casey from his turn as her teen hubby on Lifetime’s cult classic, Too Young to Marry.
Season 2 of The CW’s Nikita premieres Friday, Sept. 23 at 8/7c.
Here’s a Nikita spoiler though (sadly) not one about Mikita, but about Percy and Amanda. Here it is, it’s from the source Digital Spy btw:
Nikita star Xander Berkeley has hinted that his character Percy could become more powerful in season two.
Berkeley told IGN that the defeated Division boss will be “torn… down” so that “he can come back up”.
“One [might] think that they have already torn him down… but maybe I’ve got further to go before I hit the bottom!” said the actor. “But then my revenge or my return should be equal to however deep my fall is.”
Berkeley also promised that the dynamic between Percy and Amanda (Melinda Clarke) will take a different turn next season.
“I think that it’ll be very interesting to see what they do with us and our relationship to one another,” he said. “It’s been… danced around but never really touched on.”
Nikita star Maggie Q previously claimed that Percy will explore “a different world” in the show’s second season.
Nikita will return to The CW on September 23. The show will air in a new slot on Fridays at
